Look, there are about 36 hours of audio/video lectures and some sections are in text. But just listening to the lectures is not enough for your learning.
We recommend taking your own notes and completing the assignments.
This will take minimum 120 to 150 hours of your time.
So if you devote 2 hours a day, everyday, for 3 months then you should be able to complete it.
However, if you want to do it thoroughly, then we recommend listening to the lectures, reading the transcripts, reading the e-books, doing the assignments . This might take upto 6 months if done slowly but with dedication.
You have upto 3 years from the time of enrolment in the Online Theory Course to complete your practical intensives.
Once you enrol in the course, you will see a link 'Ask a question'.
Your questions will be answered by Dr. Vartika Dubey, who has more than 35 years of immersion in the philosophy and practice of yoga.

I’m excited to learn yoga from the source with the revered scientific yoga institutes of India.
Though living in Asia, information about yoga out there is usually westernized interpretations and sometimes mixed with other eastern philosophies. So this course guides me to yoga’s unique heritage, like discovery of treasure trove, all gems shines in the darkness, lighting up and paving way for me to a more comprehensive and bigger picture of yoga.

The Online Yoga Teacher Training course is a unique course that combines the knowledge of the ancient yoga texts with a solid research on the scientific, philosophical and anatomical aspects of yoga. The lectures are well structured and we can engage in discussions via email with the lecturers to clarify any aspect in further detail. I stumbled upon this course when reading The Science of Yoga by William Broad which had reference to its founder Swami Kuvalayananda.
